WOW

A lot has happened in the past month! I returned to Wyoming to get back to my normal work routine. I’ve gone back to coaching the base team and working out with the local boxing team and I’ve tried to put my house back together after months of neglect while I was off boxing in various tournaments.

It’s taken a lot of work to get over the disappointment of not making the Olympic team, not even making it to the Olympic Trials. I really thought I had a legitimate shot, but I came up way short! I have one more chance at competing internationally. The boxer that is supposed to represent the US Military at the International Military Championships could very well be the Olympic representative and that would open up the spot to the alternate. I should find out sometime in the next month if I’ll get to go. The tournament will be held in India which would be an awesome experience.

On a very personal note, my wife is doing better, she has healed physically, but I’m worried that it will be a while before she is fully recovered emotionally. I would appreciate your continued prayers on her behalf. If you would like more information you can contact me for a more in depth update.
