End of the road?
I have been trying to figure out what to do now that my hopes of making it to the 2008 Olympics have come to an end. Unfortunately, I lost a decision last Sunday in the USA Boxing National Championships, which were the final qualifiers for the Olympic Trials. Many have encouraged me to continue boxing and possibly turn pro, but I also have to think about my career if I want to continue in the Air Force. I will be doing a lot of praying and reflecting as this is quite a life changing decision. To all those that have helped me train, inspired me or just been there for me throughout this journey, THANK YOU!

I've been checking your blog occasionally for news of Morgan (wish she had a blog too!) and just to see how you are doing with your Olympic quest. I'm sorry to hear about the recent disappointing decision. I know you have worked hard, and you have gotten closer than most people ever will (not that coming close makes you feel any better right now, but its true). I will keep you in my prayers as you try to discern where God wants you to focus next.
